About the service.

Wifaqa is an independently developed, mission-led project for adult Muslims seeking marriage anywhere in the world. Single, divorced and widowed people, including parents and reverts, are welcome in the planned service.

Wifaqa is still being built and is run by one person, not a company. Anyone can create an account and write their story, free. Payments, the matchmaker review, identity checks and introductions are not open yet, and you will be told before they open. An account does not guarantee an introduction or a launch date.

The planned journey includes a detailed, resumable profile, careful recommendations and mutual consent before photographs are shared. Women require an active wali, or another trusted Muslim adult; men do not require their own supervisor but may involve family. Platform supervision is asynchronous, which means nobody is watching live, and it is a separate matter from religious guardianship at marriage.

Live payments are not open. At launch, joining will cost $9 once, less in many countries and charged in your own currency where I support it, and it is paid before the matchmaker review begins. $12 is then charged only in a calendar month, counted in UTC, where you and three different people both accept an introduction. Otherwise nothing. That fee is due when the month ends, and until it is paid new introductions pause; open introductions and conversations carry on. Walis and other supervisors pay nothing. Every checkout is explicit, with no automatic renewal, and fees are not refunded; the refund and cancellation policy says what happens when a charge was a mistake.

At least half of each year’s profit, after costs and tax, goes to registered charities, and the accounts are published quarterly. That half is a commitment; the rest stays in Wifaqa to keep it running and growing.

I will publish the full membership terms before opening those services. Participation must be respectful, voluntary and honest. You will always be able to decline an introduction or leave.
